Old Massett Village

We left the museum in the afternoon and started a road trip towards Old Massett.

The road goes through many villages and municipal parks.

Old Massett is a reserve on Graham Island in Haida Gwaii. The original name of the settlement was Uttewas, meaning “white-slope village” in the Haida language. It has many totem poles on private homes, community areas and businesses.
