We followed the Klondike Highway from Skagway towards Carcross.

This is a beautiful road that follows a path next to the WPYR train route. You can observe the terrain from a different view point and stop at your pleasure at several viewpoints.
Our first stop was right at the international border line between US-Alaska and Canada-Yukon.

From there we continued stopping to see some mountain goats and eventually reaching a touristy stop named Yukon Suspension Bridge. Although this is a touristy attraction it certainly worth a stop with lots of interesting information and gorgeous views of the river and canyon.

From there we continue travelling passing through several lakes till we arrived at the historical town of Carcross.

Carcross sits between Bennett Lake and Nares Lake. It has some historical buildings like the Train Depot, The St. Baptiste Catholic Mission Church, the TutThshi Boat and some remaining buildings from the original town center.

The first peoples in the area spoke two languages Tagish and Tingit. Next to the Train Depot there are some touristic shops and a History Totem Pole of the original inhabitants of the area.

We then continued to the Alaska Highway and followed it till the intersection with the Cassiar Highway where we camped for the night.
