After our visit to the Solar Telescope, we drove from the top of the Lincoln National Forest to the Valley Below. A huge change in landscape in just a few miles.
We arrived at the site later in the afternoon but we had time for a quick visit to the hill where the petroglyphs are located. We were surprised by the quantity of petroglyphs in such a small area and the golden hour allowed beautiful photographs of the petroglyphs and the surrounding Sacramento mountains.
