We followed the Klondike Highway from Dawson to Whitehorse. However we decided to stop for the night at Five Finger Rapids a couple of hours before Whitehorse.
The road is mostly paved but with some sections going through construction. We arrived at the intersection of the Silver Trail but we are running out of time for bookings we already have in Haines and Skagway so we left this road for a future trip.
At the Five Finger Rapids Recreation Area we did a short hike to the rapids. Steps take you down to the river level and a trail follows the river upstream to the rapids.
