Maligne Lake – Jasper NP

We wanted to go to Malgine Canyon but this is one of the areas still closed due to last year’s fires.

We left the campground early in the morning towards Maligne Lake instead.

The road to Maligne Lake also passes around Medicine Lake.

We did a couple of short rides around the lake enjoying the scenery

After lunch a boat took us to Spirit “Island”

We returned to the dock after the 2.5 hour boat tour.

We hit the road back to Jasper early in the evening, the time that wildlife was starting to come out between Medicine and Maligne lakes
